No U.S. mail service on Monday

The U.S. celebrates Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday on Monday. It's a federal holiday, and there will be no mail service. If you were planning to mail something on Monday, you might want to put it in the mail on Saturday, instead.

It's been on the news. It's been in the papers and it's even been on the radio: Dr. King's Day. Yet, I forgot Monday is a holiday. Attention deficit? So, mail goes out on Tuesday. Thanks for helping me pay attention.
