My daughter and I both participated in Barb Nelis' latest mail art swap...what fun! We made and decorated all sorts of envelopes and then received a big packet of envelopes in the mail! Lots of new envelopes to send my letters out in!
I can't wait for the next one!

They are very nice! I make my own too, I'm always looking for new things to make them, like magazines, newspapers, collages,it's so much more fun!
Oh I love those . but listen to this my mailman said we cannot mail out calendar pages as envies . they will not let us send them . those are too cute and I love the creativity of some ppl .
I wonder why he says that...you might try making one, putting the proper postage on it and just dropping it in the mail, to see if it gets where it's supposed to go. So long as the address is readable, I'm not sure why you couldn't mail such a handmade envelope. I get all sorts of "interesting" envelopes in the mail!
How do you make these? I'd like to learn more about them.
Great work! I don't know why regular handmade envelopes are fine, but envies made out of calendar pages wouldn't be. Maybe because there's so much writing on them or something? Could be confusing to send?
I'm pretty sure that if you can send naked objects in the mail (without a package) then it should be okay to send a calendar page lol!
Gotta love mail art.
PS-thanks for following my blog.
