Do you keep all of the letters you receive? All of the letters that you've ever received?
How do you store them? Do you keep them in a bundle tied with a ribbon? Do you store them in an archival, document-safe box? There's an interesting article on the topic at the Unclutterer website.
I don't store my as safely as I should. My wish list includes some of these boxes from the Light Impressions company. They seem to be a good choice.
Let me know how you store your letters.

I wrap mine in nice little plastic bags from places like Aaron Bros., then store them in photo storage boxes. They're the perfect fit. Sideways or head-on. Large envelopes go in larger boot boxes. I cannot think of tossing a letter. :)
At the moment, my letters are in two different places. Some are in a cardboard box back at my mom's house on the other side of the USA. The letters I have received since moving cross-country, I've been keeping them in a couple of decorative boxes on top of my entertainment center.
Unfortunately, I got rid of a lot of letters over the years. I wish I could undo that, and get all my old letters back. :(
So far I use a circa binder. I also have a circa punch and punch holes in the letters (so far no words have been mutilated by his process) and file them in the binder using dividers to create a section for each of my regular correspondents. I don't know how feasible this will be as I accumulate too man letters, but it is what I do now.
I do keep my letters in a hanging folder in my file cabinet. I'm amazed, actually, about how much mail I receive from friends and family. I'm always complaining that nobody writes but my hanging folder is bulging full! Time to stop complaining, me thinks.
I think it's interesting that everyone who commented stores their letters in a different way! Thank you for sharing your letter storage methods!
For extra special mail, I have hanging folders. For extra special envelopes and all postcards, I have binders. In the binders I use page protectors or two pocket protectors, depending on the size of the item.
