It's almost summer! Well, around here, we've already had 100-degree days, but the first day of
summer isn't for another three weeks.
How do the seasons affect your letter writing? Do you find you have more time in the summer to write letters? Do the "longer" days give you more energy and more daylight hours for corresponding?
Or, do you find yourself so busy with summer activities that you don't have time for writing? Do you find it easier to write letters when you're stuck indoors in the winter?
What about letter writing topics? Do you find more to write about in the summer or the winter?

Hmm...I've never thought about it, but I think I feel more inclined to write during the winter months. It feels nice to be warm and cozy inside, sipping on tea or hot cocoa and writing a long letter :)
ReplyDeleteI think I like writing (and blogging) more in the summer months because I can go on and on about all the great finds from the farmers markets and talk about the dishes I've made.
ReplyDeleteI like both - it´s great to sit in my cosy armchair, having lit a candle and with a lovely Cup of tea on long winter evenings, writing about this or that,- and also taking my writing pad out to the garden, sitting in a gentle summer breeze, and writing about what is happening around me just that moment.Summer and winter letters are Kind of different, I think, but writing them is always a good feeling.
